What is Invisalign?

We take 3D images of patients’ teeth using our iTero® scanner and then use these images to create clear aligners that are unique to you. Invisalign is printed with SmartTrack® thermoplastic, a material created with your comfort in mind.

The clear aligners are then cut down so they don’t rub against your gums. After your initial pair, you will receive new aligners every two weeks that are adjusted to gently pull your teeth closer to your desired smile.

How Do I Care for My Invisalign Aligners?

One of the best things about Invisalign is that they are easily removed for cleaning and care. To make sure that your aligners stay clean, rinse them out each night when you brush your teeth to get rid of any residue that might have built up throughout the day. Then brush them gently using your toothbrush before replacing them to your teeth. Teeth and aligners should be brushed after every meal before putting them back in.

What Is the Treatment Process?

The treatment process begins with a free first consultation with Dr. Brent and our highly-specialized staff. We are here to help you begin your journey to a perfect smile and want to make the process as easy as possible. Once you are here, Dr. Brent will evaluate your needs and discuss what Invisalign treatment would look like for you and what a realistic timeline would be.

Once you have your consultation, we would get to work and capture the 3D images of your teeth. From these images, your Invisalign aligners would be created to fit snugly around your teeth for ultimate comfort and efficiency. New clear aligners are given to patients every two weeks until the end of their treatment.
