Welcome to Peach Orthodontics! Our orthodontist and team are happy to welcome new patients, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible right from the get-go. To help make this happen, we encourage you to review the following information about how your orthodontic treatment will begin. If you have any questions or would like to schedule your first appointment with our orthodontists in Post Falls and Hayden, Idaho, please feel free to give us a call!
Your First Visit
We offer complimentary initial exams to all our patients. During your first visit to Peach Orthodontics, we will make diagnostic records to determine the best treatment course. Diagnostic records typically include a medical and dental history, clinical examination, photos of the patient’s teeth and face, and X-rays. Our orthodontists can then use this information to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
Consultation
After Dr. Brent or Dr. Smith has evaluated your records, we will discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case. If your orthodontist thinks you’re ready, we can get your treatment started within two appointments!
Regular Appointments
The appointment when you get your braces on usually takes one hour. You will then visit us at regular intervals every six to twelve weeks for adjustments, which take about 20 to 30 minutes. Our regular office hours are posted on our Contact page. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. Cancel only if it is an emergency. It is difficult to reschedule appointments since most of them are made six to eight weeks in advance.
Payments and Office Policies
Peach Orthodontics offers a variety of payment options to help you pay for your orthodontic treatment. For more information, please check out our Financial Information page.
